Dear colleagues,
The earthquake disaster we experienced in February caused severe destruction in many of Turkish Cities. Many of our citizens lost their lives and thousands of our people were injured. My condolences to those who lost their lives and I wish a speedy recovery to the injured. I hope they return to their normal lives as soon as possible.
We have started preparations for the 44th National Congress of Radiology, which we plan to hold this year at Antalya Granada Luxury Belek Hotel Congress Center, November 21-25, 2023. I hope to be together with you at the TURKRAD 2023 congress, which is organized by the Turkish Society of Radiology and also will be held on the 100th anniversary of the founding of our Republic this year.
Our congress scientific committee is working very hard to create a comprehensive scientific program including workshops, current topics and innovations in our field as well as basic educational interactive courses. This year, the main topic of our Congress is " Pearls and Pitfalls" and the side topic is "Innovations in Radiology". We will have the opportunity to discuss the current situation and future applications in detail with many experienced speakers on these topics.
In addition, we will have the opportunity to come together during social events and exchange ideas on issues concerning the future of radiology throughout the world.
I would like to thank our scientific committee who worked hard for the scientific program of our congress, the organizing company and our sponsors for their support. I wish to meet you in the congress with high participation as in previous years.
