Dear colleagues,
The 44th National Radiology Congress organized by the Turkish Society of Radiology will be held this year at Antalya Granada Luxury Belek Hotel Congress Center between 21-25 November 2023. I am very pleased to invite you on behalf of the TSR Scientific Committee to this meeting, which is the biggest scientific activity of our association. As in previous years, we aim to share our current knowledge and experiences with you in this year's congress, to follow new developments, as well as to come together in social environments.
The main topic of our congress is Pearls and Pitfalls, which will be especially useful for our young colleagues. Under this title, the misconceptions we may encounter in image evaluation practice and solution suggestions will be discussed. Innovations in Radiology was chosen as a side topic. As it is known, we are witnessing new technologies and applications in every field of imaging science that have been rapidly developing and put into use in recent years. We expect the related working groups to convey the innovations in their fields and industry companies to contribute to the subject.
In the congress program, in addition to panels, there will be "60 minutes - 30 cases" sessions, interactive small group workshops and half-day courses prepared by our experienced colleagues, which have taken place in our congresses for the last few years and attracted great interest. Taking into account the positive feedback from last year's congress, the number of workshops has been increased this year. In addition to these, We Will Talk Among Us session, Film Reading Session, which is a must for our congress, and Satellite Symposiums will add strength to our congress. Undoubtedly, the most important content of the congresses are the scientific researches that are prepared with great effort and shed light on the future. In this year's congress, your participation and contributions to oral presentations and selected paper sessions will be very valuable. Poster presentations and cases of the day will be presented on the digital platform. We are grateful to the representatives of educational and scientific research groups, all speakers and participants for their contributions to the scientific program of the congress. We wish you to return at the end of the Congress with new ideas, research topics and collaboration plans.
As we recover from the earthquake disaster we experienced this year, which shook us all deeply, we will continue to walk in the new century of our Republic under the guidance of reason and science, the spiritual legacy of Mustafa Kemal Atatürk.
